MY HEART SHALL NOT FEAR

The   Lord   is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The   Lord   is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the   Lord , that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the   Lord   all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the   Lord , and to enquire in his temple.   For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the   Lord . Hear, O   Lord , when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

I SEE A BROKEN MAN AS A READY MAN

Why would you need to fix an unbroken vehicle or a vehicle in its right functions? Why would you need to save a sheep walking in the green grass when there is no horror of any kind? For some time we don’t see the need to be fixed except broken. Even some men today see the symptom of a breaking vehicle and refuses to fix it, they say, “it’s still moving”, and so there wait until it crashes before it gets through to them that it needs fixing. God is interested in the broken heart and in that he said in Psalm 51:17b “A broken spirit and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise” this is because he fixes them best. This sincerely is the only way our greatest psalmist (David) has gained a kingdom with God that despite his awful deeds, God could not just bare to turn his eyes away from him. He always comes back to say “Lord am sorry, am broken, fix me” He is a potter and we all clay, we look at ourselves and we admire what is made of us, the potter our maker comes to us and request to

Are we Christians

Act 11:26  And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.  Christian is a word derived from Christ. Even as a personality from america is called an american. And from Europe a European, a Nigeria, Nigerian. Same way is a true follower of Christ called a Christian today. As our text would suggest, this set of people were seen in fellowship together, "there assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people" even as when the Jews saw the boldness with which Peter and Paul preached perceived that they had been with Christ in " Act_4:13 (Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.)" There saw a Christ like nature in them, some features that undeniab

THE DEPT OF HIS LOVE

1jhn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. I heard a story of a young lad. He lived in a big house, he had no one to play with as all he lived with were grown ups; and as grown ups, always had a thing or two to do. He gained as many toys as his heart desired, but not the biggest bears nor the the fanciest airplane could quench a desire for true friendship and company. he wished for one he could greet every morning, say goodnight to every night, discuss extensively about his daily encounter, new found knowledge from books he was already getting bored of. someone he could run along the beach with. He was growing up so fast and needed someone to talk to, someone, anyone. and so He cried to his father and tendered his plight, The father thus ordered for the creation of a robotic toy, it was the closest to man as could ever be. He could talk, laugh, even
